Enemy of the State in real life? - Scary-idea, but it looks cool.
DARPA’s Spy Telescope Will Stream Real-Time Video from Any Spot on Earth
“While you may not be concerned about Santa Claus spying on you in real-time to find out if you are good or bad, the Pentagon’s research arm intends to make Santa’s naughty or nice magical powers of surveillance look quaint. DARPA is working on a space-based spy telescope that can hover in orbit to “take real-time images or live video of any spot on Earth.”

Awesome…I can’t believe someone took the time to analyze Santa’s journey (tracked by NORAD) via spatial-temporal analysis with the visualization software Geotime.  Had to share with this my fellow geographers and Santa-lovers.

My kids are fascinated by tracking Santa as he travels the world.  They are learning geography at the same time by asking me where he is now in relation to the United States.  Thanks NORAD!
“Starting around 2am EST on 24 December, Santa’s journey will begin and NORAD will once again be tracking his every move!”
